TCPA and CAN-SPAM in plain English
Two big rules govern outreach. REHL handles the mechanics so you stay on the right side of both without becoming a lawyer.
TCPA (texting and calling)
You need prior consent to text someone, and you must respect quiet hours and opt-outs. REHL will not text without a consent record, only sends between 8am and 8pm local time (stricter than the federal 9pm limit, and what we apply unless the recipient's state is known to allow later), and suppresses anyone who opts out.
CAN-SPAM (email)
Marketing email must identify you, include a physical mailing address, and offer one-click unsubscribe. REHL adds these automatically and honors every unsubscribe.
Florida, Washington, and Oklahoma get stricter defaults, including double opt-in for texts. REHL applies the right rules based on your state.
