Sources: connectors and what each one costs you
A connector is one place your leads come from: a portal account, an ad campaign, an open house, a referral partner. Give each one its own connector and REHL can tell you which ones pay for themselves.
Create a connector
- Go to Sources, then Connect a new source.
- Pick the source type and give it a name you will recognize in six months, like "Zillow, New Smyrna".
- Enter the monthly spend if you pay for it. That is what makes the ROI column mean anything.
- Save. REHL generates a webhook address and a secret for that connector, and shows them once.
- Paste the webhook address into the source's own settings, or hand it to whoever sends you the leads.
Leads that arrive on a connector's webhook become ordinary leads: deduplicated against your existing contacts, routed to an owner, scored, and tagged with that source.
Reading the dashboard
- Monthly spend, leads in the last 30 and 7 days, and cost per lead.
- Hot rate: the share of that source's scored leads sitting in the hot bands. It reads "not scored yet" rather than zero when nothing has been scored.
- Recent errors: submissions that arrived and failed, so a form that has quietly broken shows up here.
Who can set up a connector?
An Admin seat only. A connector's secret is a working credential for sending leads into your brokerage, and the dashboard shows whole-brokerage spend, so both sit behind the admin door.
Do I need a connector to get leads in?
No. Your buyer site, open houses, and website forms already attribute themselves. Connectors are for outside sources you want measured. If you just want to forward leads in with no setup, use Bring your leads.
I picked the email parse type and got an inbox address. Does it work?
Not yet. The generated address is reserved for that connector but nothing is receiving mail on it today. To forward portal alert emails, use the forwarding address on the Bring your leads page instead, which is live.
Cost per lead and return use the monthly spend you typed in. REHL does not read your ad accounts, so if the spend is wrong the ROI is wrong.
